Because of our tendency to consume at least four Diet Cokes on any given day (give or take), we always get irrationally excited when the bottles get a new look.
Remember when they started putting people’s names on Coke bottles? We still get a thrill of excitement remembering the day we found ours in the supermarket.
The new Share A Coke bottle.
And we have great news, Coke fans, because the company’s Share A Coke campaign is returning this summer — but now with the names of 75 holiday destinations!
So, those of you who are still feeling bummed that you couldn’t afford three weeks in Bali this summer can simply have a bottle of Coke instead! Kinda the same, right?
And if that’s not enough, everyone who buys one of the fun new bottles will have a chance to win an actual vacation to that holiday destination — how fancy!
The original Share A Coke bottles.
According to the beverage company’s website, the Share A Coke holiday collection launched in May and includes famous cities and exotic beaches including NYC, Hawaii, Miami, Ibiza, and more!
The original Share A Coke advertising campaign was first launched in Australia back in 2011 and featured bottles with the 150 most popular first names from Down Under.
By 2013, Coca-Cola expanded the popular concept to the US and UK. Now, you can even customize the labels on 8 oz. bottles or six-packs on the brand’s official website — so cool!
