Clint Eastwood Always Makes Time for His Seven Kids and Two Grandchildren Despite Busy Career (EXCLUSIVE)
It’s not easy to be a father, husband, and an A-list actor, but apparently, for Clint Eastwood, 88, it’s a no-brainer. And while he successfully balances everything, he’s actually more mellow than you may think after seeing him on the big screen.
“My dad is a much more cool and laid-back guy than a lot of his characters,” his daughter Alison Eastwood told Closer Weekly in the magazine’s newest issue, on newsstands now. “He has a wonderfully dry, dark sense of humor.”
Perhaps Clint’s “chill” attitude has helped him to be such a great dad to his seven children. The Gran Torino star is a father to a son Kyle, 50, and daughter Alison, 46, from his first marriage to Maggie Johnson, which lasted from 1953 to 1988. However, during that marriage, he had an affair with Roxanne Tunis and they welcomed a daughter Kimber, 54, in 1964. He was then married to Dina Ruiz from 1996 until 2014 and the two had a 21-year-old daughter, Morgan, together. Clint also has two more kids, Scott, 32, and Kathryn, 30, with his former flame, Jacelyn Reeves, as well as a 25-year-old daughter, Francesca, with his former co-star Frances Fisher.
He’s also a proud grandpa-of-two and has one on the way, as Francesca is expecting baby No. 1. “Clint loves them all,” the insider told Closer of his grandkids.
But despite Clint’s complicated love life, his kids have always remained his number one priority. “My parents split up when I was pretty young, but he always made time for us, even when he was working,” Allison shared.
Scott added, “Dad didn’t care if I was a plumber or an actor. He said, ‘Whatever you do, just do it well. Be humble about what you do, be a good guy and tell the truth.'”
Today, Clint is happily dating Christina Sandera, 55, who was a former hostess at the Mission Ranch hotel Clint owns in Carmel, CA. “She’s lovely — he’s in love with her,” a source revealed. “He used to say he’ll never marry again, but you never know with Clint. He might do it soon, just so she’s protected financially.” We wish nothing but the best for Clint!
