If your wife starred in one of the most romantic films of all time, Dirty Dancing, you might think life at home would be tough to live up to. But Jennifer Grey’s husband, Clark Gregg, gives it his best shot. “I basically just walk around the house with me holding her on the lift!” The Avengers actor exclusively joked to Closer Weekly about his wife’s famous dance scene in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now. “That’s all we do!”

On a more serious note, Clark, 56, is there to support Jennifer, 58, in other ways. Last month, he joined the Dancing With the Stars alum and her famous dad, Joel Grey, at the February 21 off-Broadway opening night of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, which Joel directed. And dancing is one of the secrets to their 17-year marriage. “When we’re in New York, a date night usually involves theater, sushi and maybe a salsa class if she wins or binge-watching if I win!” he said.

Not only do Jennifer and Clark have a great marriage, but they’re also the proud parents to a 17-year-old daughter, Stella Gregg. While the teen has yet to dip her toes in the acting pond like her parents, she is around the age when some kids begin dating. In 2014, the handsome hunk made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and, at the time, opened up about how terrified he was for the day she would start dating.

When asked at the time by host Ellen DeGeneres if boys around Stella made him nervous, Clark replied, “It does, Ellen, yes. Very much so, yes.” At the time of the interview, the Iron Man actor also told Ellen a funny anecdote about his daughter’s experience with boys thus far.

“Recently, she went to a party with some people from her elementary school, now that she’s in middle school, and boys were there. And she came back and she said, ‘I think I’m getting thirsty for boys.’ So that’s a thirst we’re not going to let her quench for a while,” the actor concluded as the crowd erupted in laughter. We wonder how Clark will act when Stella brings her first boyfriend home!
