A lot can change in a year, and no one knows that better than Christina Anstead.

The 35-year-old has not only tied the knot to her husband Ant Anstead, 40, but she has also announced that a baby is on the way. This will be the HGTV star’s third child — she shares daughter Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3, with ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, 37. It is going to be quite a big family too, as Christina’s new man has his own two kids — Amelie, 15, and Archie, 12, — with his previous wife Louise.

“All of the kids are so excited,” the TV personality tells People of her family with Ant. “I love all the fun chaos and a full house. I always thought I would only have two and now I’ll have five!”

Aside from being married and having a baby on the way, Christina also has a new home, as well as a new show on the network titled Christina On the Coast. “I help write every script. I approve everything, it’s just been an incredible experience,” she told the outlet.

Christina and her ex-husband split in 2018 after nine years of marriage. They worked on the very popular HGTV show Flip or Flop, and continued to film a new eight season even while going through a divorce — although the show may seem a tad different this time around. “Before, I kinda got my way more … Not so much anymore,” the blonde beauty told ET, adding that moving forward the program will feature a “lot more Tarek design.”

Christina also revealed that Ant is completely fine that his wife has a good working relationship with her ex, saying that he’s “genuinely” pleased. “I mean if only everyone could be so happy for our situation,” she said. “… It’s awesome. It’s exactly how it should be… The goal is for the kids to feel happy and settled and that’s what we want … So that really is how we live, and how he projects it, and that’s just his personality. Trust me, it’s the best possible situation for everybody.”

We’re happy that all parties are getting along and working together for the sake of their kids!
