It sounds like Kelly Clarkson‘s wedding fever is rubbing off on Chrissy Teigen! The Lip Sync Battle host opened up about the singer’s recent confession, just days after Kelly admitted that she wants her 3-year-old son, Remington, to marry Chrissy’s 3-year-old daughter, Luna.

“She has the most incredible family,” the 33-year-old gushed to ET at the NBC Upfront on Tuesday, May 14. “Our kids and her kids hang out backstage at The Voice, and River is just such a little … she, like, runs my daughter,” Chrissy added of Kelly’s 4-year-old daughter. “She’s like, ‘Here’s what you need to do.’ She’s, like, taken over backstage because she’s been there longer, and it’s adorable to see.”

The Cravings: Hungry for More author even added that she’d be over the moon to see a wedding duet performance by her husband, John Legend, and Kelly — who are both judges on the hit NBC singing competition. “I’d be thrilled. I’d be thrilled,” she repeated at the idea of the nuptials.

Word of all this wedding talk started going around after the “Piece by Piece” songstress revealed that she would love to set up the pint-sized pair in the future. “My little boy, I told Chrissy, I want to marry Luna,” Kelly jokingly dished to the outlet while recently backstage at The Voice. “They would make the most beautiful babies. Their skin tones, their eye color, I’m like, ‘What would that baby look like?’ They probably think I’m weird. Definitely, they probably think I’m weird.”

The original American Idol winner explained that the two kiddos would have a lot in common thanks to their similar upbringings. “I think it’s fun to have other kids that kinda grow up in an environment … it’s not normal,” she elaborated. “You know, it’s not like an everyday scenario, like how we all grew up. So I like that they at least get people to hang out with every once in a while … with the same kinda vibe to where they don’t feel weird.”

Kelly’s incredibly adorable idea comes after John, 40, joined longtime coaches — Kelly, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — for the season 16 of the famed series. The “All of Me” singer, who is also the dad to son Miles, 11 months, with Chrissy, took to social media last September to share the exciting news.

“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of [The Voice],” John wrote in an Instagram post. “I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”
