She needs answers! Chrissy Teigen‘s daughter, Luna, needed an explanation as to why her mom was simply one minute late picking her up from school.

The TV personality, 33, took to Twitter on Thursday, September 26, to inform her fans that her little girl, 3, was quite vocal about her displeasure about not being picked up on time. “I was *1* minute late picking luna up from school,” the model wrote. “She was all sweet in her classroom then as soon as we were alone, I buckled her in she said ‘so why? why were you late?’” According to the Lip Since Battle cohost, a closed-off street was to blame.

“This is why I was late WHO IS THIS I can’t live without knowing,” Chrissy wrote in a second tweet, which was accompanied by a video that proved a lane was shutdown to drivers.

Fans were loving the sass coming from the toddler, as they quickly responded. “These tiny people own our lives,” one person said. “At least she waited until y’all were in private. Raising that kid right!” another added.

Chrissy shares Luna, and son Miles, 19 months, with her husband, John Legend. The pair tied the knot in 2013 — and they’ve always been open to sharing hilarious moments from their life. In fact, the Cravings author once gushed about how funny Luna truly is.

“She is so verbal … obviously, everyone’s kids say something and you’re like, ‘Where did you get that?’ But with us, it’s like, ‘How did you learn that tone or phrasing?’ She phrases things really well and she, like, holds a beat to give the punch line with things. It’s really interesting. But yeah, she’s so funny,” Chrissy told Entertainment Tonight. Even the little one’s musician father, 40, agrees.

“She’s constantly debating and John loves that ’cause he talks to her as if she’s like a counterpart,” Chrissy explained. “I mean it’s amazing. Every day there’s something …  if I say something silly, she’ll be like, ‘Oh my God, you’re such a goose.’ I’m like, ‘Where did you get that?'”

“It’s just everything she reads, she holds onto forever,” Chrissy told the outlet. “We always tell her to tell us a scary story and she just, like, gets up and she’s like, ‘Once upon a time,’ and it’s so dramatic, the readings of it. Maybe we’re just dorky parents, but we think everything’s funny.”
