It seems Chris Martin has a thing for blondes — and Oscar winners for that matter!
Following his “conscious uncoupling” and divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow — and romances with Jennifer Lawrence and Annabelle Wallis — we’re told the 40-year-old singer is now smitten with Charlize Theron!
“He thinks she is one of the most attractive women ever and is beyond keen on exploring something more with her,” an insider recently told NW.

“They have been friends for years because of Gwyneth but now Chris is trying to ratchet things up into a full blown romance,” a source similarly told Radar Online.
The romance rumors follow reports that Chris wrote and performed a song especially for Charlize, 41, at a charity fundraiser she hosted in California earlier this year. The tune’s lyrics included the phrase, “The purpose of this song is to tell you that you’re adored.” What a way with words you have, Chris!
Also, this is totally history repeating itself. Chris wrote five songs for Gwyneth back in the day. Remember “Fix You”?!

Speaking of Gwyn, it seems she might not be so happy seeing her ex-hubby getting cozy with Charlize. “Gwyneth and Charlize were very close, and this development makes things more than a little awkward,” a source revealed. Awkward indeed!

Chris and the Iron Man star, 44, previously tied the knot in 2003 and split in 2014 after 11 years of marriage. They are parents to a 13-year-old daughter, Apple Martin, and an 11-year-old son, Moses Martin.

Though Charlize has never been married, she dated Irish actor Stuart Townsend for nine years from 2001 until 2010. The actress is a mom to two adopted kids, son Jackson, 5, and daughter August, 2.
