Hollywood stars are just like us! At least music icon Cher proved that to be true when she tweeted on Tuesday, February 5 that she enjoys following the lives of Chip Gaines, Joanna Gaines and their five adorable kids. “Once in a while I like to check in and see what’s happening with Chip, Joanna and kids,” the 72-year-old wrote alongside a smiley face emoji and the hashtag #FixerUpper.

Later, Chip, 44, sweetly replied to the music icon’s online message by writing, “Well Auntie Cher, kids are doing great! A little cold going around, but you know how it is. Send everyone our love! — the Gaines clan.” Chip and Jo, 40, are parents to five kiddos, Drake, 13, Ella Rose, 12, Duke, 9, Emmie Kay, 8, and Crew, 8 months.

Though Cher is known around the world as a singing superstar, she previously revealed that her home life is sort of like Chip and Joanna’s relaxed family life in Waco, Texas. “I go around just in my sweatpants. I don’t go around in makeup, I have my hair in a ponytail,” the Moonstruck star told People last fall. “I like my off time. I like not being glamorous. I like just being grubby.”

Though the Gaineses ended Fixer Upper in April 2018, Cher will probably be delighted when the powerhouse couple returns to TV soon with their own network. “We are coming back to television,” Chip revealed last November. “You’re gonna get to see the kids grow up, you’ll get to see us — maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we’re excited to be back. Yes!”

“Having five kids isn’t stopping Chip and Joanna from expanding their business ventures. They’re expert multitaskers,” a source told In Touch at the time of the pair’s exciting announcement. “Even after giving birth to Crew, Joanna remained heavily involved in the business side of things — she has always been a go-getter. They couldn’t be happier about making their TV comeback!”

We bet Cher couldn’t be happier about it either!
