Careful what you wish for! Megyn Kelly loves the idea of Hollywood stunner Charlize Theron playing her in an upcoming film about the sexual harassment scandal that rocked Fox News, but an insider recently revealed that Megyn may not be thrilled with the Oscar winner’s portrayal.
"Charlize won’t sugarcoat anything," the insider told In Touch Weekly — in the magazine's latest issue, on newsstands now! — adding that the women have already been in contact so that Charlize, 42, could get a feel for the Today host’s personality. "She’ll play Megyn as the tough-as-nails ice queen that she is."

So while Megyn, 47, "can’t stop talking about the casting," she should probably be more concerned about how Charlize really sees her. "Megyn is in for a huge wake-up call," the insider confessed. "She’s not going to be very happy when the movie comes out!"
In late May, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the upcoming film will be centralized around Megyn’s involvement in the 2016 sexual misconduct accusations surrounding former Chairman and CEO of Fox News, Roger Ailes. "[Charlize] will portray Megyn Kelly, a former lawyer who was a Fox News anchor for over a decade, rising up through the ranks from legal contributor to host of the popular series The Kelly File. Fox News reportedly tried to pressure her to come out in support of Ailes, but she refused," the publication stated.
In addition to jumpstarting Megyn’s career, Roger was responsible for other notable Fox anchors, such as Sean Hannity and Gretchen Carlson. That said, both Megyn and Gretchen came forward against Roger in 2016 — with a number of other women.
In Megyn's memoir Settle for More, she described several transgressions between herself and the media mogul, including the fact that he repeatedly tried to force himself on her. When she denied his advances, he said, "When is your contract up?" Roger was eventually asked to leave the network and later died in May 2017, never having faced the allegations in a court of law. At this time, it has yet to be confirmed which actors will be playing the other notable roles in the yet-to-be-titled film about Megyn.
