'He Wants to See Me Strong Again'Céline Dion Talks Returning to the Stage for Her Cancer-Stricken Husband
Though he has been bravely battling throat cancer for more than a year, Céline Dion‘s husband, René Angélil, has been the biggest supporter of his wife’s decision to return to performing this August.
“He wants me strong. He wants to see me again because I’m his favorite singer. So, he wants me out there, and I have to say that I’m ready,” the 47-year-old star told People during a backstage interview at last night’s Billboard Music Awards.
