Still flying solo. Céline Dion revealed that she isn’t exactly ready to get back on the dating route after her husband René Angélil‘s death almost four years.

“I don’t date. I’m not ready to date. I’m very lucky and happy to have so many people in my surrounding to make me — they make me laugh, but I miss to be touched,” the 51-year-old said during an appearance on Today. “I miss to be hugged. I missed to be told, ‘You’re beautiful.’ I miss what a boyfriend and I miss what a husband would do.”

The legendary singer tied the knot with her love — who also happened to be her manager — in 1994. They share three kids — sons René-Charles, 18, and twins Eddy and Nelson, both 8 years old. René would pass away in 2016, at the age of 73, after a battle with cancer. However, the hitmaker still recalls their final moments together.

“He called me before a show and give me a little message: ‘I love you’ and when I came home that night, it was very, very late … And I didn’t want to come and wake him up to give him a kiss, to wake him up and then he can’t find sleep again,” Céline said. “And the next morning, he was gone. So, we talked before. And he sent me a text message. So we said goodbye.”

This is not the first time that the “My Heart Will Go On” singer has opened up about her late husband — she once got candid about dealing with his passing, revealing what she has learned since. “You cannot stop living,” Céline said during an interview with Good Morning America in April 2019. “Go forward. And today’s the first day of the beginning of my life, because I know that, I don’t have to worry.”

Céline also explained that she is instead focusing on all the good in her life: like her children. “The kids are growing, and I see them,” she said. “And I look at them and I’m like, ‘Wow … we’ve done a great job.’ And I’m so proud.” So sweet!

Céline will soon be kicking off her Courage tour — we hope things continue to go well for her!
