Seeing Double!Celebrity Parents Who Have Twins: These Stars Have Double the Joy for When It Comes to Children
These stars had more than one child … at the same time! Twins have become quite common in Hollywood, with stars including Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and more who have given birth to two babies in one delivery session.
Model Ashley Graham is soon to be the latest addition to the mother of twins club. The brunette beauty previously revealed on July 13, 2021, that she and husband Justin Ervin were expecting a second baby. The couple are already parents to son Isaac, born on Jan. 18, 2020.
In an Instagram post showing her growing bump, Ashley wrote, “The past year has been full of tiny surprises, big griefs, familiar beginnings and new stories. I’m just beginning to process and celebrate what this next chapter means for us.” The chapter is going to be bigger than she thought, as on September 20, 2021, Ashley shared a video of herself undergoing an ultrasound n which she got the surprise of her life, as she has twins on the way!
“Is that twins?” Ashley asked looking at the monitor and squealed with shock when the tech said, “yeah.” Ashley then asked, “Is that a penis?” She then said. “And that’s a girl?” about the other baby on the screen and the tech told her, “No, that’s a boy too.” Ashley sprung up from the table and asked if she was serious. The model then burst out laughing, saying, “We’re going to have three boys,” as Justin asked, “Are you kidding me?” Three boys under 2 years old! Now that’s going to be a handful.
For some stars, they never pictured themselves with children, let alone twins. In George Clooney‘s interview for his 2020 GQ Icon of the Year profile, he admitted, “I was like, ‘I’m never getting married. I’m not gonna have kids. I’m gonna work, I’ve got great friends, my life is full, I’m doing well,’” he recalled, noting how “everything” changed after being introduced to wife Amal by mutual friends in 2013. “I was like, ‘Oh, actually, this has been a huge empty space,’” he explained.
George and Amal welcomed fraternal twins Ella and Alexander in June 2017, less than three years after their September 2014 nuptials. “I’d never been in the position where someone else’s life was infinitely more important to me than my own,” he gushed. “You know? And then, tack on two more individuals, who are small and have to be fed.”
Earlier, George made light about how his kids have already inherited his love of playing pranks. “They’re good kids. They’re happy kids. They laugh a lot,” he said on Today in May 2019. “They do pranks already. Put peanut butter on their shoes, so that it looks like poo-poo on their shoes and stuff, and they think that’s funny.” George then added that the twins are “completely different” from one another and they’re really “fun and smart.”
