"Sixteen years ago, this was the spot where my husband proposed," the 46-year-old actress captioned the sweet snapshot of the two smiling in front of snowy mountains during their romantic Aspen, Colo. ski trip.

The couple — who are parents to two kids, son Dylan, 15, and daughter Carys, 12 — married in November 2000. Catherine and Michael briefly split to "take some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage" in May 2013, the actress' rep confirmed at the time. By November 2014, the A-List couple had reconciled and continue to live together with their children.
