The 37-year-old recently appeared alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the 2015 flick Southpaw and on the TV series True Detective. She's currently filming the movie Doctor Strange with Tilda Swinton and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Ryan Gosling (Noah Calhoun)
Ryan, 35, has a bunch of new movies coming out next year, including his third film with Emma Stone called La La Land. He and his girlfriend, actress Eva Mendes, recently became first-time parents when they welcomed their daughter, Esmeralda, in September 2014.

James Garner (Old Noah Calhoun)
Throughout his nearly 60-year Hollywood career, James worked as an actor, voice artist, singer, producer and comedian. He is most known for his starring roles on TV shows Maverick and The Rockford Files, as well as for appearing in movies The Great Escape, Grand Prix, Victor Victoria, Murphy's Romance — for which he received an Oscar nomination — and Space Cowboys. The actor sadly died after suffering a heart attack at age 86 in July 2014.

Gena Rowlands (Old Allie Hamilton)
The four-time Emmy winner and two-time Golden Globe recipient, 85, is most known for collaborating with her late husband, John Cassavetes, on ten films, including Gloria and A Woman Under the Influence. Last year she starred in the flick Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks.
The actress received an honorary Oscar statuette at the film academy’s seventh annual Governors Awards in mid-November 2015.

James Marsden (Lon Hammond, Jr.)
The 42-year-old is currently filming his new HBO series Westworld with Anthony Hopkins. He'll also be voicing a character in the upcoming animated film Henchmen.
The actor has three children – Jack, 14, Mary, 10, and William, 2.

Joan Allen (Ann Hamilton)
The 59-year-old actress has received three Oscar nominations for her roles in 1995's Nixon, 1996's The Crucible and 2000's The Contender. She had a recurring role in the AMC series The Killing in 2014 and will be in the upcoming show The Family.

David Thornton (John Hamilton)
In addition to The Notebook, David, 62 — who is married to singer Cyndi Lauper — is most recognized for his roles in movies John Q, Home Alone 3 and The Other Woman. He is still acting and has been in a handful of shows and movies over the years including The Other Woman and Trophy Kids.

The 72-year-old actor stars in the Netflix drama Bloodline, and has two new films coming out next year including Midnight Special with Kirsten Dunst.
