Casey Kasem’s Wife Jean Throws Raw Hamburger Meat at His Daughter

The battle over radio personality Casey Kasem’s well-being has taken another bizarre turn after reports claim the 82-year-old’s wife, Jean Kasem, threw raw hamburger meat at his daughter, Kerri, this past weekend.

The 35-year-old was attempting to take her father to a nearby hospital after a Washington judge granted her regular visitation and the right to have him checked by a doctor. Apparently, Jean didn’t want her husband to be moved.

After Casey, who suffers from severe dementia, was transported to the hospital, Jean claimed her strange behavior was inspired by a Bible verse.

“In the name of King David, I threw a piece of raw meat into the street in exchange for my husband to the wild rabid dogs,” she recited to NBC News.

The hamburger incident comes a day after Jean held a press conference where she played a recording of Casey’s moaning, telling reporters he was protesting the judge’s order to give Kerri access.

“Everything she’s doing is just making it worse for herself,” Casey’s other daughter, Julie, said of her stepmother’s actions.

This saga first began when Jean secretly moved her husband, who is unable to eat or speak on his own, out of a care facility in California last month. She made the decision without notifying his children or obtaining a doctor’s consent.

At the time, Kerri exclusively told Closer, “I will do whatever I need to do to get my dad back,” admitting, “I’m filled with an extreme amount of worry for my father.”

The “American Top 40” host’s disappearance ignited a missing person’s search which ended with his discovery in Washington state.
