We officially feel old!

Carrie Underwood took to Instagram on Thursday, May 25 to celebrate herself winning American Idol — and we can’t believe it’s already been 12 years since her victory!

“12 years later and I’m still not sure how it all happened to me! 12 years ago today, my dreams came true and life has been a dream ever since! I am beyond blessed and so thankful! #AmericanIdol #TBT,” the 34-year-old singer captioned a montage of snapshots from the night she won the reality singing competition.
