Carrie Underwood Reveals Impressive Post-Baby Body 4 Months After Giving Birth to Baby No. 2 — See the Pic!
She’s working overtime! Carrie Underwood may have just had a baby a few months ago, but she’s been doing all she can to get her body back — and she shared progress of her journey recently with quite the photo.
The American Idol alum took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 22, to share a photo of herself mid-workout. The 36-year-old can be seen in the pushup and row position, which involves gripping a pair of dumbbells placed shoulder-width apart. The object is all about lowering yourself down into a pushup and barely hover over the floor.
“Better together!,” the singer captioned the pic. Adding, “@CALIAbyCarrie #StayThePath #MobileGym #CryPrettyTour360.” Scroll on down below to see the photo!
Fans were quite impressed by Carrie’s workout routine, heading to the comments section to react. “Superwoman! WOW you go girl!!!” one person responded. Another added, “You look awesome.” Mike Fisher is also in the photo, as he works out next to his wife.
Carrie and Mike have been married since 2010. They share two kids — sons Isaiah, 4, and Jacob, 4 months. The “Before He Cheats” singer has been quite open about her body struggles since the birth of her youngest child.
“I’m going to be honest, ‘bouncing back’ after having Jacob has been much more difficult than after I had Isaiah and I’ve been pretty hard on myself lately,” Carrie captioned a mirror pic in a very candid Instagram post. “I go into the gym and I can’t run as fast or as far. I can’t lift as much weight or do as many reps as I could a year ago,” she continued.
“I just want to feel like myself again … for my body to feel the way that I know it can,” she added. “I’m going to keep staying the path because it is a journey and as long as I’m always working towards my goals, one day I’ll reach them. I’m going to take it day by day, smile at the girl in the mirror, and work out because I love this body and all it has done and will continue to do.”
Well, all the hard work is clearly paying off for Carrie. We are rooting for her!
