Pregnant Carrie Underwood's Friend Says She Will Be a "Phenomenal" Mom!

It seems Carrie Underwood is going to be one great mom!

According to the country star’s friend Chantal Kreviazuk, 31-year-old Carrie — who is expecting her first child with her 34-year-old husband, Mike Fisher — will be a “phenomenal” first-time mommy!

“Carrie is incredibly thoughtful and she is going to be an amazing, amazing fearless and fierce leader of a family,” Kreviazuk said in a new interview.

“She is a very, very lovely world-class human being and I am sure she will be a phenomenal mother,” she continued.

Singer/songwriter Kreviazuk, 40, met Carrie when she penned her hit song “Unapologize” for the ‘American Idol’ alum’s 2009 album ‘Play On.’ She has also worked with other notable stars including Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez.

Carrie and Mike met at one of her concerts in 2008 and the couple later became engaged in 2009. The stars — who have publicly stated they are expecting a baby boy — tied the knot on July 10, 2010.
