We cannot think of anyone more deserving! On Monday, Sept. 10, it was revealed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce that Carrie Underwood will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, Sept. 20 in front of the Captiol Records building.
Carrie, 35, previously won Season 4 of American Idol and has earned seven Grammys, six CMAs, 18 CMT Music Awards, and 12 American Music Awards throughout her extremely successful career.
Her ceremony next Thursday will feature two special guests: Simon Cowell, who helped her win the singing competition over a decade ago, and Brad Paisley, her CMA Awards co-host for the past 11 years.
Carrie has had both a tumultuous and exciting past couple of months. First off, she's finally recovered from a scary fall that left her with a broken wrist and 40 stitches in her face. But now that she's healed, Carrie has had some exciting news to share with her fans: her new album, "Cry Pretty," comes out Friday, Sept. 14 and she and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting baby No. 2!
The blonde beauty — who is also a mom to a three-year-old son Isaiah — revealed the news she's expecting the same time she shared her "Cry Pretty Tour 360," which will take place in May 2019.
"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond!" she shared on Instagram on Aug. 8. "This has just been a dream come true, with album and with baby news and all that stuff. We're just so excited, and just so glad that you guys can share in this with us."
We can't wait to meet their bundle of joy soon, but for now, we're just hoping we get to see cute photos of Isaiah at his mom's ceremony next week!
