She’s done it all from winning American Idol to reeling in numerous Grammy awards, but now Carrie Underwood is taking the author’s route with her first-ever book!

“Excited to share the cover of my new book #FindYourPath coming out in March 2020!” the 36-year-old wrote via Twitter on Thursday, December 19, alongside the cover of the book showing Carrie smiling. “Pre-order your copy today! http://CarrieUnderwoodOfficial.com/FindYourPath.” People were of course pretty excited about the big news, as they responded with nothing but positive words.

“I want to be healthy and fit 52 weeks of the year, but that doesn’t mean I have to be perfect every day,” the country singer explained of her book. “This philosophy is a year-round common-sense approach to health and fitness that involves doing your best most of the time. By that I don’t mean being naughty for three days and good for four. I mean doing your absolute best most of the time during every week, 52 weeks of the year.”

As for what you will find inside of the pages, it’s going to be quite in-depth. “Throughout the book, Carrie shares her personal journey towards optimal health, from her passion for sports as a kid, to the pressure to look perfect and fit the mold as she launched her career after winning ‘American Idol’, to eventually discovering the importance of balance and the meaning of true health,” a press release from publisher Harper’s Collins read.

It continued, “For Carrie, being fit isn’t about crash diets or a workout routine that you’re going to dread. It’s about healthy choices and simple meals that you can put together from the ingredients in your local grocery store, and making the time, every day, to move, to love your body, and to be the best version of yourself.”

The mother-of-two has been very open about her fitness, especially since welcoming her youngest child. “I’m going to be honest, ‘bouncing back’ after having Jacob has been much more difficult than after I had Isaiah and I’ve been pretty hard on myself lately,” Carrie wrote on Instagram next to a mirror pic of herself. “I go into the gym and I can’t run as fast or as far. I can’t lift as much weight or do as many reps as I could a year ago.”

Carrie is looking great these days, so we are eager to read some of her tips in her new book out March 2020!
