Welcome to the Fisher family! Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are expecting to welcome baby No. 2 very soon but that doesn’t mean they can’t add another member to their brood in the meantime. The 35-year-old singer’s hockey player hubby took to Instagram earlier this week to announce that they got a new dog and it’s a cute little German Shepherd puppy!

“Meet the newest member of our family! Isaiah affectionately named him Zero,” Mike, 38, wrote captioned a photo of the couple’s new pet. “I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home😂#GSD.”

We can only imagine how thrilled Mike and Carrie’s 3-year-old son, Isaiah Fisher, must feel to have another pet that he can play with at home. Isaiah’s parents already have two other dogs named Ace (a rat terrier) and Penny (a dachshund mix) so Zero will have a few playmates to keep him company.

Additionally, Carrie recently revealed that Isaiah can’t wait for his new little sibling to arrive. “He’s absolutely amazing,” the country star told host Jimmy Fallon while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “So, we’re excited to add to the family.”

Carrie also gushed that her son has been adjusting to life with an expectant mom quite well. “I mean, he’ll be really sweet — he’ll talk to my belly and kiss my belly. He’s the sweetest little boy. But I mean, no kid can really know that their life is going to change. He’ll just have to share mommy,” the singer explained.

The proud mom additionally dished that Isaiah has already come up with a few names for his baby brother. “He did say, Isaiah Michael Fisher, which is, of course, is his name — which, of course, would be confusing. We tried to explain that,” she hilariously told Jimmy. “But he wants to name everything his name because he thinks that’s special.” Awww, Isaiah will be such a great older brother!
