Mom-of-three Candace Cameron Bure is not ready for her kids, Natasha Bure, 20, Lev Bure, 18, and Maksim Bure, 16, to leave the nest! “It’s sad to think that my kids aren’t going to be in my house every day,” she said in a recent interview with Us Weekly.

Watching them grow up has been one of the greatest pleasures that Candace, 42, has experienced. “I love seeing what kind of mark they’re going to make on the world,” she added. Candace parents her three kids with her husband of 22 years, Val Bure. She recently told Us Weekly that the secret to her long marriage is to always put her spouse first.

“You really try to, I always say, put your spouse on a pedestal. And in return, you’re hoping, which my husband does, we have the same respect for one another other… and some days neither of us deserve it, but we do it because we honor one another and respect each other. You hang in there, you’re always going to come back on the upswing if you’re in a low spot,” she said.

Though Candace learned that “marriage is a wonderful, beautiful thing,” she also noted that in a relationship, “there’s always going to be tough times. There’s no one that has this amazingly perfect marriage.”

Not only does Candace credit her successful marriage to giving Val tons of attention but she’s also admitted that their faith plays a big part in their union, too. “It’s the Bible,” she previously gushed to People. “You know, when there are arguments or we’re compromising and in ways, it’s always like, ‘Well, let’s just go back to the Bible.’ It’s the foundation for us. So it’s not about winning or losing. But doing this journey together.” How romantic!
