If there's one thing Brooke Shields loves, it's being a mom! The A-list actress recently gushed about motherhood with her two daughters, Rowan, 14, and Grier, 11 — and revealed there's no better job!
"Being with my children is one of the purest joys that I have," Brooke gushed about her two girls. Brooke and Grier recently celebrated her 11th birthday at Sugar Factory in NYC earlier this year. "It's so simple, but it's things like that I hope they will always remember," Brooke, 51, said of the little celebration.
Brooke and her husband, Chris Henchy — who married in April 2001 — previously welcomed Rowan in May 2003 and Grier in April 2006. The Blue Lagoon actress was also married to Andre Agassi from 1997 until 1999.
Brooke prides herself on being a strong, supportive mother after suffering difficulties in her own childhood. The star's mom was an abusive alcoholic while she was growing up. "I felt abandoned by her," she wrote in her memoir, There Was a Little Girl. "My unhappiness was rooted in my mother's inability to stop drinking."

"Brooke lived like a puppet... Teri was a control freak — she had an opinion about everything," a source exclusively told Closer Weekly of the actress's childhood. Another insider recently revealed, "Brooke is very un-Hollywood. She and Chris have a great relationship. Their kids come first and they do all the things normal families do."
