Brooke Shields Hails Taxi Cab With Daughter Rowan in NYC

Talk about teamwork! Brooke Shields and her daughter Rowan joined forces in order to hail a taxi cab in New York City.

Earlier this week, the actress, 54, and her eldest child, 16, raised their hands in hopes of flagging down a ride in New York City. And thankfully, it looked like it was a success! Brooke shares Rowan — as well as 13-year-old daughter Grier — with her husband Chris Henchy. Brooke once revealed her feelings when she accepted the fact that she and her love would not be having a third child.

“The first mourning that I went through was realizing I wasn’t going to have any more children,” she admitted an in interview with Sunday Telegraph. “That threw me.” However, Chris — who she tied the knot with in 2001 — has always been by her side.

“My husband’s an incredibly balancing source,” the Blue Lagoon star gushed to the outlet “He’s very comfortable in his own self and he’s so funny. My thing is that I want to be ready for the worst, always. He makes me crazy, but he says, ‘We’ll figure it out.’”

“I’m so used to having to have my own back. It’s a relief to have someone who, if I need it, takes care of me,” she continued. Now that their two little ones aren’t so little anymore, Brooke understands that it is important for her to keep an eye on what Rowan and Grier do on social media. However, she also wants to encourage them to feel comfortable with themselves.

“I want them to maintain a sense that their body is their body,” the model told AOL’s Build earlier this year. “They say things and it’s scary what they think is OK or what they think they should be putting out there or what’s getting likes. I have to say to them, “You don’t want to be that girl. Just keep it together, you know, your legs. Pace yourself.”

It is quite clear that Brooke is not only all about her kids, but wants them to live their best life!
