The resemblance is uncanny! Brooke Shields‘ youngest daughter, Grier Henchy, 12, is starting to look more like her famous mom every day and when the pair stepped out at the Hampton Classic Horse Show on Sunday, Sept. 2, it was hard to tell the two apart!

At the fun event, Brooke and Grier both wore sundresses and leaned in close to take a couple of photos together. Even though Grier is Brooke’s youngest daughter, she is now just as tall as her mom and they share the same pretty oval eyes and welcoming smile. Grier also sported her mother’s confident attitude and didn’t appear to be nervous around the cameras at all.

“They’re so much more mature than I was,” the 53-year-old actress previously told Porter magazine about Grier and her oldest daughter, Rowan Henchy, 15. “So much more confident in their own bodies. They have the same stubbornness and strength that I do, but are more well-adjusted. I am jealous as all hell about that. But, of course, I created it.”

Grier may follow in her mother’s footsteps and pursue modeling in the future, but Brooke wants her daughters to know that education should always come first. In a previous interview with Social Life, Brooke said that a career in the arts can be “a cutthroat and demoralizing business.” She added, “Plus, they want you when they want you, and you have to be there for auditions and work, and my kids aren’t missing school. After college, if they still have the bug, they can pursue it then, but school is first.”

Although Brooke has made a lot of money as a model, she has revealed that it was her intelligence that helped her survive the modeling industry. “An education is grounding and it gives you control over your life,” Brooke said.  “If I hadn’t had the intellectual piece as my friend, I would have been more devoured by an industry that has no loyalty whatsoever.”
