Brooke Burke-Charvet No Longer Watches ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Brooke Burke-Charvet may have enjoyed her time on Dancing With the Stars, but that doesn’t mean she still tunes into the popular dance competition today!

In an exclusive new interview with Closer Weekly, the 45-year-old star revealed she no longer watches DWTS even though the show was such a staple in her career.

“Honestly I don’t watch the show but not for any other reason than I just don’t,” Brooke — who is currently partnered with Poise Brand — confessed to Closer, adding that despite her decusion not to watch, she still has “Lots of friends in the ballroom.”

Brooke won the Mirror Ball Trophy during the show’s seventh season back in September 2008 with her pro partner, Derek Hough. The actress gushed about working with the dancer during that time.

“Derek and I will always have a special relationship because we shared such a life-changing moment,” Brooke gushed.

After performing on the show, the mom-of-four co-hosted DWTS from 2010 to 2013 with Tom Bergeron, who still remains on the show today.

“Tom and I stil have a great relationship and we have dinner a couple times year,” Brooke added. “I think once a partner always a partner.”

In another exclusive interview with Closer, DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba revealed she’s sharing her “I Do” tips with her DWTS co-stars Julianne Hough (Derek’s younger sister) and Erin Andrews (who is now in Brooke’s co-host role), who are also both engaged!

“I was just talking to Erin and Julianne and we’re trying to plan a party when the [next DWTS] season starts up — a girl’s night dinner so we can kind of discuss some wedding planning together,” she told Closer.

“We can share secrets and things like that as we all move forward. It’s really nice to be engaged with all of them at the same time,” Carrie Ann continued. “I think it’s really fun. It just kind of shows the way our our whole [DWTS] family is so connected, that all three of us are engaged at the same time is funny.”
