Ahhh, to have witnessed this interaction!
In a wonderful "bromance" moment, A-list actors Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey spotted each other from across the street while chilling on separate balconies in New Orleans!
Brad, pleasantly surprised to see the Oscar winner hanging out directly across from his Louisiana residence, acted like any good neighbor and offered his fellow star a beer.
In what could have been a disastrous moment, the World War Z star tossed a can over the street to Matthew's balcony. Luckily, the True Detective actor has a pretty good catch!
Watch a video of the spontaneous moment below and scroll down for more of our favorite Hollywood bromances!
Patrick Stewart & Ian McKellen
This is the bromance to crush all other bromances. Long-time best friends Patrick and Ian have not only co-starred in four X-Men franchise films — plus recent Broadway productions of No Man's Land and Waiting for Godot — but the duo literally hang out all the time, posting various pictures on Twitter of their New York adventures! And Ian even officiated Patrick's wedding to singer Sunny Ozell last year.
Ben Affleck & Matt Damon
The famous duo have been friends since they were kids, both growing up in Cambridge, Mass. and have seen each other through career highs (winning Academy Awards for Good Will Hunting), and lows (remember Ben's Gigli disaster), plus marriage and kids!
Blake Shelton & Adam Levine
They became close as judges on The Voice and now we can't picture a world without this comedy team! Not only do they have a blast joking around with one another — this photoshopped pic will always be our favorite — but they genuinely care about the other, constantly defending against haters.
Harry Connick Jr. & Keith Urban
Another bromance to emerge from a singing competition! This pair never stops gushing about each other, especially when it comes to their sense of humor and parenting skills! "I wish there was a late-night channel that showed unedited clips of Harry," Keith has said of his fellow American Idol judge, while Harry's raved, "Keith's girls are so lucky to have him. He's the sweetest guy."
Brad Pitt & George Clooney
Although he may be forming a nice little bromance with Matthew, Brad's true loyalty lies with long-time pal George. The hunky actors became great friends after co-starring in the Ocean's Eleven franchise, but have really bonded over their mutual love of pranks!
