Bindi Irwin Reunites With Boyfriend Chandler Powell for New Year's Eve - Closer Weekly

Bindi Irwin and her boyfriend, Chandler Powell, are back together again!

The 18-year-old Dancing With the Stars champion — she won Season 21 in November 2015 with pro partner Derek Hough! — and her beau, 20, reunited in Tasmania to celebrate New Year's Eve together on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Bindi later took to Instagram to post an adorable photo of herself with Chandler at Australia Zoo.

"I missed you. Wonderful to be back @AustraliaZoo after celebrating [the New Year] in gorgeous Tasmania together. Ready for lots of fun these Australian School Holidays doing shows at #AustraliaZoo," the wildlife conservationist captioned the sweet snapshot.

In early December, Bindi similarly posted a farewell to Chandler on the photo-sharing site. The pro wakeboarder headed back to his Florida hometown after spending several months in Australia with Bindi, her mother, Terri Irwin, and her 13-year-old brother, Robert Irwin.

"You are flying back to the USA today. Dropping you off at the airport and waving goodbye, it never gets easier. Thank you for the most wonderful adventures these last few months," she wrote at the time.

"We even got to celebrate your 20th birthday here in Australia together, hiking through the Great Dividing Range! I've known you since you were 16 and every day, from the very first day I met you, you've been my sunshine," Bindi continued.

Bindi and the athlete first met several years ago when Chandler and his family visited Australia Zoo. The couple have now been dating for two years.

Terri has also opened up about not dating since Steve's death. "Just because I feel a connection still with Steve," she explained. "I really don't think I would have married if I hadn't met Steve. And he's very special to me and continues to be. And I've got beautiful kids and a lot of wonderful conservation work. So I'm lonely for Steve, but I'm not a lonely person."
