Betty White Looks So Happy While Out and About on Her Birthday Week

Still living life to the fullest! Just a day before turning 98, Betty White was spotted looking fantastic while enjoying a day in Beverly Hills.

The iconic star spent her birthday week in the West Coast, as she was seen with her legendary and infectious smile. And that shouldn’t come as a surprise as she seems to be beloved by everyone — and it doesn’t hurt that she still loves to have a good time. “She still likes to drink, laugh and tell stories,” a close friend exclusively told Closer Weekly of the TV legend, adding that Betty is still trucking away.

“She doesn’t have any major health problems,” her pal revealed. “She says she’s a little ‘creaky.’ Walking is a bit of an issue and she uses a walker at home, but she’s OK. And she’s still quick with a one-liner.” Although aside from this public appearance, she prefers to take things slow.

“She still gets job offers, but that part of her life is probably over,” the friend added. However, there may be a job ready for her to go if she wants it: game show host.

“Are there many unemployed professional game show hosts out there right now?” Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek jokingly told Closer Weekly and other reporters at the 2020 ABC Winter Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour on January 8. “When people ask me who I’d like to see replace me, I say, ‘Well, it’s probably going to be a woman and she’ll have to be bright. She’ll have to have a good sense of humor.'”

“Let’s see, Betty White,” the TV personality suddenly said. “Here’s my choice. … It’s not a decision that would be up to me and I would not make myself available to presenting an opinion. I would leave it up to the people in charge.”

Well it certainly seems like the Golden Girls alum is on everyone’s mind, and that is of course always a good thing.
