Ben Stiller‘s Showtime series, Escape at Dannemora, has been getting tons of recognition. And while you may recognize some of the actors on it, you may have missed one: Ben’s own daughter.

Ben, who directed all seven episodes of the series that brought in two Golden Globes nominations, was able to bring his 16-year-old daughter Ella Stiller along for the ride as she appeared in one of the episodes. Ben, 53, even brought Ella as his date to the award show where they got to see cast-member Patricia Arquette win for Best Actress in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television.

“We watched it week by week together,” Ella told People of getting to see the show with her father. “It was the most fun, so fun.” Ben agreed and said, “That was fun, that was my favorite part of the whole part of the process, watching week to week with her.”

“He would rewind and show me all the little tricks,” Ella added. Ben, who also has a 13-year-old son named Quinlin Stiller, shares his two kids with his ex-wife Christine Taylor. The pair announced their separation after 17 years of marriage way back in May of 2017. “With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” the couple shared in a joint statement to Entertainment Tonight. “Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”

Christine hasn’t touched on the subject very much since that statement, but she did tell Us Weekly last year that she and Ben are “together all the time. We’re a big family.” She added that her relationship with her ex is now much better, saying, “It’s wonderful, it’s wonderful.”

Well, one thing is certain, Ben and Christine continue to try and spend as much time with their children as possible.
