Ben Affleck Is in the ‘Best Shape of His Life’ Following Divorce From Jennifer Garner (Exclusive)

The actor — who spent some time in rehab to combat alcohol addiction last year — now has a new perspective on life, the insider revealed. “He hired a stylist and a personal trainer. Sobriety made him look at all aspects of his life, including his appearance,” the source told Closer. “When you have a beard, the disheveled look just doesn’t work, unless you’re going for a sloppy lumberjack [or] drifter vibe, which Ben wasn’t. Ben’s in the best shape of his life and he’s never been more stylish.”

Ben’s updated style is thanks to a new stylist he’s been working with to revamp his image. “The baggy pants, oversized shirts and sweaters are gone. He’s lean and his wardrobe needed to reflect that. His stylist hooked him up with a fitted wardrobe, good shoes and Ben has been loving the results. He’s into the layered look and even put a few outfits together on his own that were very impressive,” the source explained.

“Ben’s looking like a million bucks again and people are noticing,” the insider said. And that’s very true because he’s reeled our attention in, too! But not only has the writer and director been focusing on himself, but he has also, of course, been taking the time to hang out with his three children: 13-year-old daughter Violet, 10-year-old daughter Seraphina and 6-year-old son Samuel. Ben was recently photographed out and about with his second oldest in Santa Monica, California looking happy and healthy.
