Ben Affleck Gushes Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner is a "Superhero Mom" - Closer Weekly

Talk about amicable exes!

During the premiere of Ben Affleck‘s new film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor gushed about his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner — and referred to her as a “superhero mom“!

“Jen is a superhero mom. She is an amazing mother and I’m really lucky to have her as a partner to co-parent these kids with,” Ben, 43, told E! News at the NYC event on Sunday, March 20. “We try our best, we put them first and that’s what we do.”

Ben and Jen, also 43, tied the knot in June 2005 and announced their divorce after 10 years of marriage in June 2015. The former couple are parents to three kids, daughters Violet, 10, and Seraphina, 7, and son Samuel, 4.

In a previous interview, Jen similarly opened up about the couple’s unfortunate breakup. “[A divorce is] not easy to go through it — period. I have found going through it in the public eye, it’s just another facet of [the split]. But for anyone, when your life shifts in any way, it’s tricky enough,” Jen said. “But I have found people to be so warm and loving that it hasn’t been nearly as bad as you might imagine… We will make it work.”
