Exes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Reunite for Daughter Seraphina’s Birthday (REPORT)
Anything for the kids! Amicable exes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reportedly reunited on Saturday, Jan. 6 to celebrate their daughter Seraphina’s ninth birthday. Talk about co-parenting!
“Jennifer hosted a small birthday party for Seraphina at her house late Saturday afternoon,” a source told E! News. “Ben was the first guest to arrive on his motorcycle right as the party was starting. He was in a great mood.” How sweet!
The former duo — they were married from 2005 until 2015 — previously welcomed Seraphina in January 2009. They are also parents to a 12-year-old daughter, Violet, who was born in December 2005 and to a five-year-old son, Samuel, who was born in February 2012. This isn’t the first time Ben and Jen have put their children first amid their divorce. They allegedly celebrated Fourth of July as a family as well. Ben and Jen have also reunited to take their children to church in the past.
In a previous interview, Ben opened up about co-parenting with Jen. “We do our best. We try our best… My areas of expertise with the kids [are] spotty at best,” he explained. “Not homework!”
He added in another sit-down, “Jen is a superhero mom. She is an amazing mother and I’m really lucky to have her as a partner to co-parent these kids with. We try our best, we put them first and that’s what we do.”
According to E!, the former husband and wife also spent Christmas together this year and had a “great time” even though Ben is currently dating Lindsay Shookus. “Ben is continuing to work hard on himself and is taking many different steps that will allow him to be the best father possible,” an insider shared with the news outlet. We’re so glad to hear that they’re making it work during such a tough time!
