Congratulations! Barack Obama and Michelle Obama must be so proud of their youngest daughter, Sasha Obama, because she graduated from high school on Sunday, June 9.

The 18-year-old is done with Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. and will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall, according to Us Weekly. However, before she said goodbye to all of her friends at school, her parents carved out time from their busy schedules to attend her graduation ceremony over the weekend.

Sasha was seen wearing a beautiful white dress in a Facebook class photo taken of her and her peers. Her family’s friends Joe Biden — the former vice president of the U.S. — and Jill Biden were also in attendance. They were there to not just celebrate Sasha, but also to show up for their granddaughter, Maisy.

“Jill and I were so thrilled to be there today to watch our amazing granddaughter Maisy graduate from high school,” the 76-year-old politician wrote on Instagram. “Maisy, you make us so proud and we can’t wait to see what you do next with your talent, smarts, dedication and kindness. The future is yours, and Nana and Pop will always be right behind you.

Now that Sasha will be entering the real world as a young adult, Barack couldn’t be more proud of the values he and Michelle instilled in their little girl. “Michelle … is such a great example,” he said in a 2016 interview with radio station WDCG in North Carolina. “How she carries herself, her self-esteem, not depending on boys to validate how you look or not letting yourself be judged by anything other than your character and intelligence. Hopefully, I’ve been a good example in terms of how I show respect to my wife.”

Congratulations again, Sasha! We can’t wait to see what you achieve in life!
