Like grandmother, like granddaughter! Audrey Hepburn‘s granddaughter Emma Kathleen Hepburn Ferrer attended the UNICEF Snowflake Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC on Tuesday, Nov. 27 — and looked just like the late movie star on the red carpet!

The 24-year-old donned a baby blue tulle dress with silver shoes and a short necklace. However, the part that resembled Audrey the most was her short hairdo, a look that the actress donned for many years before her death in 1993 from appendix cancer.

At the event, Emma opened up about her connection with UNICEF, and revealed she enjoys it because it lets her “choose the way I want to carry on [Audrey’s] legacy.” She told InStyle: “I used to struggle a lot with people wondering whether I looked like her or dressed like her, and it’s been really cool to just wake up and be like this is the message that I want to carry forward. This is the work that I know she’d be proud of me doing. So I can do that and at the same time follow my own path.”

Audrey was also a part of UNICEF, and Emma admitted, “Since I could pronounce words, I’ve known what UNICEF was.” The Breakfast at Tiffany’s star once gushed over her role as a Goodwill Ambassador in 1989. “I can testify to what UNICEF means to children because I was among those who received food and medical relief right after World War II,” she said at the time. “I have a long-lasting gratitude and trust for what UNICEF does.”

This isn’t the first time Emma honored her grandmother in public. Back in 2014, the beauty graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar and so elegantly channeled Audrey while doing so. “As a child, I couldn’t really relate to Audrey Hepburn, the actress. To me, she was family,” she revealed at the time. Audrey would be so proud!
