Don’t mess with Ashley Judd!

Earlier this week, the 46-year-old actress received a shocking amount of online verbal abuse after tweeting during the University of Kentucky’s Southeastern Conference basketball championship — and now Ashley is fighting back against her haters in a very serious way.

“I’m pressing charges,” the ‘Insurgent’ star revealed on ‘The Today Show’ during a Tuesday, March 16 interview.

“The amount of gender violence that I experience is absolutely extraordinary,” she continued. “And a significant part of my day today will be spent filing police reports at home about gender violence that’s directed at me in social media.”

The influx of vulgar and expletive tweets targeted at Ashley came after the Wildcats super-fan tweeted that she thought Kentucky’s opponent, the University of Arkansas, was playing dirty during their game on Sunday, March 15.
