Angelina Jolie and Her 6 Kids Attend Movie Screening in NYC — Check Out the Pics!

The film the family went to see is about a young boy in Malawi who decides to help his village by building a wind turbine after reading about them in a library book — certainly sounds like quite the inspirational story that you would want your kids to see.

It’s fantastic to see a mom having such a great relationship with her children, and Angelina’s dad, Jon Voight, agrees, as he once exclusively told Closer Weekly, “She is very loving to the kids and very much there with them, always there with them although she has a busy life. She doesn’t miss any opportunity to inquire into their lives and help them every step of the way. So I’m very proud of her.”

Jon continued, “Everybody is good, yes. Yes they are getting big. That’s the way it is, you know,” the Ray Donovan actor said about his grandchildren. He added, “People don’t realize how short life is. You don’t realize, most young people hear their parents and their friends of their parents say ‘life is short’.”

All of these public family outings are quite different from how Brad handles time with his children, as a source once told In Touch, “Brad is spending plenty of time with his kids — at his home. He just isn’t parading them around like Angelina has been doing.”

We have a feeling this won’t be the last time we see this lovely family out-and-about!
