Two insiders exclusively tell Closer Andy, 56, has been strategically cozying up to Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, 52, hoping to secure one of the most coveted seats in morning T.V. — the one Hoda Kotb is leaving behind.
“Andy has been making a series of friendly overtures toward Savannah,” spills the source.
“It’s all part of a calculated move. Andy is a master of networking, and he knows how to align himself with the right people to get what he wants.”
