When it comes to dads, it seems there are none prouder — or cuter — than Andy Cohen! The Bravo star shared a new pic of newborn son Benjamin Allen Cohen on Instagram yesterday, Tuesday, February 26, to celebrate the fact that this little guy is already 3 weeks old. In the snapshot, we see Andy looking down lovingly at a sleepy Benjamin and holding him in his arms.
“Mornings are my new jam,” the 50-year-old captioned the oh-so-adorable pic, adding a hashtag indicating the age of this bundle of joy. Check it out Andy’s cute post below!
This is just the latest milestone for Benjamin, who was born on February 4 via surrogacy. That’s right, this guy is already going to be a month old in just a few short days. It seems like only yesterday when Andy announced that he was going to become a dad during the final 2018 broadcast of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and, from the get-go, it was clear that he was already excited about this new adventure.
Andy has already gotten support from celebrity pals like Sarah Jessica Parker and Kelly Ripa — not to mention some truly stellar advice from bestie Connie Britton. He may have been nervous at the beginning but, from the looks of it, the talk show host is settling into fatherhood quite nicely and has certainly gotten into the swing of things. Benjamin has even already met “uncle” Anderson Cooper, as evidenced by a recent Instagram post — check it out below!
Since Benjamin’s birth, Andy has spoken out about just how grateful he is to the “incredible surrogate” that he will be “forever indebted” to. In a recent chat with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on the Today show, Andy also opened up about choosing surrogacy over adoption. He explained how surrogacy is illegal in some states and how, in some parts of the U.S., it’s illegal for LGBT people to adopt.
No matter how Benjamin entered Andy’s life, the love between these two is definitely palpable.
