When Amy Adams stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to hilariously watch her real-life mom play her Lynne Cheney role from Vice, the actress decided to bring her rarely-seen daughter, Aviana Le Gallo, along for the ride. And, in new photos of the mother-daughter duo, Amy, 44, and Aviana, 8, look so cute!

For the talk show appearance, Amy looked chic in a green dress paired with black high-heel shoes while her little girl looked adorable in a blue sweater with light-colored jeans. Amy’s mom, Kathryn Adams, was also spotted walking intoJimmy Kimmel‘s Los Angeles studio with her family and once the show got underway, the host hilariously presented Kathryn with an award for her Vice performance.

“I don’t know who to thank for this, but I do have a couple of people I really want to thank,” Kathryn joked at the podium with her daughter watching in the audience. “First of all, I’d like to thank Rosalinabina. She’s my dog. And, of course, Carol and Sandy and Sherry. You’re the best.” Jimmy then had to remind Kathryn to thank her daughter, Amy, who is actually nominated for an Oscar this year for her performance in Vice.

Although Amy and her daughter are rarely seen out in public together, Aviana did attend her mom’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star ceremony in January 2017.

When Amy acted alongside Henry Cavill as Lois Lane in the 2013 film Man of Steel, she revealed her daughter had the biggest crush on her costar during a previous interview on Good Morning America. “Oh yeah,” she said about Aviana’s affection for Henry. “She doesn’t anymore. She makes it very clear. She’s like, ‘Do you remember that funny time when I thought Henry was cute?’ She kind of pinched him on the toosh. She was like a year [old], and Henry was like, ‘She’s your daughter.’”

During a previous appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden, Amy revealed that she once met Whitney Houston when she used to work at the Gap. “They put me as the greeter and I just did everything I was supposed to do, even if I didn’t want to,” Amy said about her job. And when she greeted Whitney at the door, the singer just wasn’t feeling her attitude. “She went back into the dressing room and requested anybody else,” Amy joked.

Although Amy has starred in so many great films, she once said that she never lets her daughter watch her movies or TV shows. “My daughter said, ‘Can you please do a movie that I can see?’” Amy previously recalled to Variety. “She’s like, ‘Can I watch Sharp Objects?’ and I’m like, ‘Oh God, no, never!’”

Aviana has helped her mom love her profession even more. “I actually love my work more now, because I feel if I’m going to be away from her, I’d better enjoy it,” Amy said in a previous interview. So sweet!
