Eva LaRue loves traveling the world with her daughter, Kaya, and decorating her stunning San Fernando Valley home in California with objets d’art she’s picked up along the way.

“My style is super eclectic, because I’m travel-obsessed!” Eva, 48, shares with ‘Closer.’ “My inspiration comes from things I love.” And when the former CSI: Miami and All My Children star isn’t acting or working on her jewelry line, she’s busy finding those things in exotic locales.

Eva’s four-bedroom Tudor-style house is filled with everything from a framed 450-year-old piece of carpet she found in a remote antique store in Turkey to a Buddha statue, which is more than a century old, from a trip to Thailand.

“The Buddha is on our dining room table,” says Eva, who shares the sprawling 5,200-square-foot home with Kaya, 13, her child with ex-husband and ‘All My Children’ co-star John Callahan. “I just love it!”

She also loves a great deal. “The Pacific Design Center has a service where you can rent a designer for the day,” Eva reveals. “I saw my white dining room chairs, but they weren’t available for sale to the public, so he bought them for me. And instead of paying $19,000 for the office sofa I wanted, he had a guy make it for a fraction of the cost.”

It also helps to have a real estate agent in the family, which is how Eva discovered her home five years ago. “My aunt said, ‘I’ve found a great house in a private community you’re going to love.’ We are surrounded by state forest, and it looked so pretty driving up to it,” she shares.
