If you don’t think Jennifer Lopez has the best fiancé in the world, think again! After the Hustlers star lost to Laura Dern for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture at the 2020 Golden Globes, A-Rod, 44, took to Instagram to show just how much J. Lo, 50, has always been a “champion” in his eyes.

“Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion. To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion,” he wrote on Sunday, January 5. “For countless musicians, dancers, actresses, and performers who have seen and emulate your passion, drive and work ethic to find their own success, you are a champion.”

“To your children, your family, your coaches, your staff, and your extended family, you are a champion,” he continued. “To everyone whose lives you enrich daily, you are a champion. And don’t you ever forget it. ❤️❤️❤️.” Our hearts just melted!

Accompanying A-Rod’s beautiful caption was a photo of J. Lo working the red carpet that night. She looked gorgeous in a green, gold and white gown that featured a huge bow on the front. Her brown hair was slicked back in a crown of braids and you could tell she was feeling like a champion standing alongside her fiancé.

In the comments, Jennifer replied to Alex, writing, “You are my everything ❤️.”

Before the couple even arrived at the Golden Globes, the athlete shared a photo of him and his beau looking happier than ever in the car. “Heading to the @goldenglobes. Such an exciting night ahead,” he said. “Good luck to @jlo and congrats to all of the nominees tonight for their amazing performances!”

Even though Jennifer didn’t win big at the Golden Globes, she was still a winner in Alex’s eyes. During a previous interview with WWDthe former baseball player gushed about what a wonderful woman the “Get Right” singer really is.

“What I have learned from her is again, here is someone who comes from very humble beginnings, right here in the Bronx. And she has truly lived the American dream,” he shared. “She has an incredible arc in her life through ups and downs. Right now, even though she is a triple threat in the world with her talent, what I know her for is being a good partner, mother and daughter.”

No matter what, J. Lo will always be a winner in our eyes too!
