"We are happy to introduce you to Romeo Alejandro David Baldwin," she wrote alongside a precious snapshot of the newborn. Hilaria previously announced Romeo's birth via Instagram on Thursday, May 17. "He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz ? #WeGotThis2018," the yoga instructor, 34, captioned the sweet snap of herself and Alec, 60, cuddling the newborn at the hospital. The duo previously announced they were expecting in November 2017, and soon after, shared it was a boy with a sweet gender reveal cake.
Fans had a feeling Hilaria would deliver the day she did after the two Instagram posts she shared before. One was a photo from the night before she gave birth of a baby boy's outfit with the caption, "Packing," and another was a glimpse of her super large baby bump from earlier in the day that Romeo arrived. "Earlier this morning…wish me luck. Bye bye baby bump," she wrote alongside the mirror selfie.
It took the couple a few days to reveal their baby son's name, and during her last public appearance before giving birth on Tuesday, May 15, Hilaria confessed the duo did not yet have a moniker picked out for their little guy. "This is the first one that we really don't know going into it, and we're going to see what he looks like and take a good look," she explained to Entertainment Tonight.
In a previous interview, Hilaria shared that although she experienced more "calmness and comfort from experience" during her fourth pregnancy, things may still be difficult for her now having four kids under the age of five. "I’m not saying I won’t have another meltdown when this new baby is born!" she clarified.
Hilaria and Alec — who married in 2012 — are already parents to daughter Carmen, 4, and sons Rafael, 2, and Leo, 20 months. The SNL actor is also a dad to a daughter, Ireland, 22, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger. We're still counting on the first pic of the family-of-seven!
