Actress Jaime Pressly revealed she had undergone an "almost full mastectomy" after finding several lumps in her breasts a few years ago.

The 37-year-old told the ladies on The Talk that her health scare began in 2007 after the birth of her son Dezi.

"I had something that happened to me years ago…when I had my son I got mastitis, but I didn't know because I thought it was just regular breastfeeding pain," Jamie said of the condition, which is described by the Mayo Clinic as "an infection of the breast tissue that results in breast pain, swelling, warmth and redness of the breast."

Four years later, the Jennifer Falls star discovered the lumps and visited a doctor to have scar tissue removed from one side. But eventually, tissue from both breasts had to be removed.

"I still have some breast tissue left, just from the mastitis because it mutated into something else because it sat dormant for a while," Jamie explained. "But it was the craziest thing. Thank God it wasn't [cancer]."

The blonde beauty's revelation comes less than two months after TV host Samantha Harris talked candidly with Closer about her double mastectomy and eight months after GMA co-host Amy Robach's bilateral mastectomy.
