To mark their first Christmas with baby Carmen, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin released a festive greeting card today on the yoga instructor's Instagram account.

The adorable picture collage featured a photograph of the seven-month-old baby on her own in a red tartan dress, matching black hairband and red shoes and another of the tot being held by her doting parents.

Even the family dogs were involved in the Christmas festivities as the two pooches were decked out in matching reindeer sweaters. To complete the collage, a picture of the couple's huge christmas tree was included.

The message said "Merry Christmas y Feliz Navidad." 29-year-old Hilaria was born in Mallorca, Spain, and grew up in Boston.

The yoga instructor met Alec, known these days more for his volatile temper than his acting skills, at a restaurant in New York in February 2011 when she said she "fell instantly in love with him."

Speaking about the moment they met, she said she was "standing near the door with my friends when [he] walked up and took my hand and said, ‘I must know you.'"

The 55-year-old actor told The New York Times of the bold chat up line that he didn't think it was that clever, but that when he saw his eventual bride-to-be, he "felt compelled" to make an introduction.

They married in Old St Patrick's Cathedral in July last year.
