5 Remaining Presidents Come Together For George H.W. Bush’s Funeral — See The Pics

Rest in peace, George H.W. Bush. Friends, family, current US president Donald Trump, and former presidents gathered for the late 41st President of the US’ funeral at the Washington National Cathedral on Wednesday, Dec 5 following his death at age 94 on Friday, Nov. 30.

Donald plus the remaining four living presidents, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and of course, George W. Bush, sat front row at the event, which marked the first presidential funeral since 2006. While none of them spoke at the memorial service besides Geoge H.W.’s son, George W., Donald tweeted prior to the engagement. “Looking forward to being with the Bush family. This is not a funeral, this is a day of celebration for a great man who has led a long and distinguished life. He will be missed!” he wrote on the social media platform.

George W. gave a touching eulogy, but one part was especially bone-chilling. “He showed me what it means to be a president who serves with integrity, leads with courage and acts with love in his heart for the citizens of our country,” Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush Hager’s dad said. “Through our tears, let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you — a great and noble man, the best father a son or daughter can have — and in our grief, let us smile knowing that Dad is hugging Robin and holding Mom’s hand again.”
