Even though the 2019 Met Gala was everything that we hoped for, we would have still loved to see George Clooney walk the red carpet with his wife, Amal Clooney, on fashion’s biggest night of the year. Instead of attending the Hollywood event, the couple probably decided to stay at home and spend some quality time with their young kids.

However, when they normally go out on date night, they like to hire their celebrity nanny, Connie Simpson, to look after their twins, Alexander and Ella Clooney, both 1, while they enjoy each other’s company.

According to Heat, Connie is such a great nanny that the Clooney’s friends, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are already thinking about hiring her to take care of their new royal baby. “I’ll tell Meghan that, in all the things you can give a person, the most important thing you can give them is yourself and your love,” she previously told the mag. “The baby is going to have no earthly idea that she’s Meghan Markle, or that she’s Prince Harry’s wife and in line to the throne. They will know her for being the one to supply milk and give comfort.”

Connie has a long list of celebrity clients, too! She also looks after John Krasinski and Emily Blunt‘s kids, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren‘s children as well as Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake‘s little ones. However, if Meghan wasn’t planning on hiring her mom, Doria Ragland, to be her baby’s nanny we’re sure she would have given the gig to Connie right away.

“It’s Doria or no one,” a source previously told Closer Weekly about who Harry and Meghan want for their baby. “So now there’s a huge scramble within Kensington Palace staff to train her up on royal etiquette and survival techniques because this role is not just about changing nappies and singing lullabies. Doria will be entrusted with passing on very important skills to Harry and Meghan’s children.”

Who knows, if Doria does a great job with the royal couple’s baby then George and Amal might want to hire her next!
