Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell Sweetly Hold Hands During Romantic Date Night in Los Angeles

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s decades-long Hollywood romance is one for the ages! The longtime couple stepped out together for a sweet date night in Los Angeles.

In photos obtained by People, Kurt, 74, held onto Goldie’s hand as they made their way to Giorgio Baldi, an Italian restaurant, on Sunday, March 30. The Oscar winner, 79, wore a chic all-black ensemble with a patterned purse, while Kurt went with a plaid shirt, white slacks and black shoes along with glasses.

The outing came nearly a month after the duo stunned on the red carpet at the 2025 Oscars. The Cactus Flower actress looked beautiful in a gold look in photos snapped with Kurt by her side. Goldie took the stage that night to present the award for Best Animated Film with Andrew Garfield.

Kurt and Goldie have been dating since 1983 and welcomed one child together, son Wyatt Russell, in 1986. She is also a mom to kids Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson from her marriage to Bill Hudson, while Kurt shares son Boston Russell with ex-wife Season Hubley.

While Goldie and Kurt never married, they’ve been more than happy in their committed relationship for more than four decades.

“A lasting relationship isn’t about marriage. It’s about compatibility and communication. And you both need to want it to work. If one person does not want it to work, it isn’t going to work,” the Christmas Chronicles actress told Porter in 2015. “Intention is the key. It’s also about not losing yourself in each other. Being together, two pillars holding up the house and the roof, and being different, not having to agree on everything, learning how to deal with not agreeing. Everything’s a choice.”

Through the years of their relationship, family has remained at the center of Goldie and Kurt’s universe.

“[Kurt] came from three sisters and a very strong family unit. I came from one sister and two parents and a big family unit. That’s what we care about,” Goldie said. “We talked about relationships and commonality early on. We had nannies, there’s no doubt about it. We’ve both been working. But we were very present with our children. It’s the same way we grew up. I had a working mother, Kurt did not. My mother was right there.”

Nowadays, they’re all about spending as much time with their kids and grandkids as they can.

“It’s an unbelievable weave that starts to happen when your children start to have children,” Goldie said during a November 2024 appearance on Hoda Kotb’s “Making Space” podcast.“But they’re the parents. And what one has to be careful is that we don’t want to be a horn that’s always saying, ‘Why’d you do that?’ and, ‘They should do this,’ and whatever. So Kurt and I give them full autonomy.”

“Being a go-go, grandmother, I love it,” she continued. “I do love being a grandmother, but I’m not the boss. I’m just the one that can deliver happiness to them, and also an ear if they need it.”
