More Than 20 Years After ‘Home Improvement’ Ended, See Tim Allen and the Rest of the Cast Then and Now!

We miss the Taylor family!

Can you believe it has been more than 20 years since Home Improvement aired its final episode on May 25, 1999? That’s right, it has been more than two decades since Tim Allen‘s Tool Time host Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor hung up his tool belt for the last time. We certainly loved getting to know him and the other Taylors.

Home Improvement’s first episode aired on September 17, 1991. The series — which also starred Patricia Richardson (Jill Taylor), Zachery Ty Bryan (Brad Taylor), Jonathan Taylor Thomas (Randy Taylor) and Taran Noah Smith (Mark Taylor) — ran for eight seasons and totaled more than 200 episodes. The iconic series garnered 34 Emmy nominations, winning seven of them.

“It was so much fun on the set,” Tim and Patricia told Entertainment Tonight back in 2016, reminiscing about their time filming the ’90s show, which was one of the most-watched sitcoms in America. “We would just crack up and just lose it and not be able to get it together.”
