Whoopi Goldberg has an exciting new gig!
The 60-year-old actress will star in the upcoming indie-drama Nine Eleven, which tells the story of five individuals who are stuck in a World Trade Center elevator together during the Sept. 11, 2011 terrorist attacks, Variety reported.
"We are immensely grateful to bring this inspirational story to life. Nine Eleven is a highly emotional journey and it took a dynamic bunch to collectively come together to make this unique film happen," the film's director, Martin Guigui, said in a statement. "We are fortunate to have such a gifted cast on board."
